A man who was in­jured in a car ac­ci­dent near Bhag­wans­ingh’s in Ch­agua­nas ear­li­er this month has died.

The de­ceased has been iden­ti­fied as Aray­on Gabriel, of San Fer­nan­do, who suc­cumbed to his in­juries while still hos­pi­talised at the Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex, Mt Hope, at 4 am yes­ter­day.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice in­ves­ti­ga­tors, Gabriel sus­tained mul­ti­ple in­juries, in­clud­ing bro­ken ribs and punc­tured lungs, in the crash along the Uri­ah But­ler High­way on Feb­ru­ary 9.
