A police officer watched helplessly as his parked vehicle was stolen from outside the Special Branch compound in St James on Saturday.
The 52-year-old officer reported that around 8.30 p.m. he parked and secured his silver Nissan Wingroad along Agra Street, on the eastern side of the roadway outside the Special Branch Headquarters. He then left the area.
Police said that at about 4.15 a.m. while at the sentry post, the officer observed the headlights of his vehicle being switched on.
