Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 27-year-old Shakira Blanca, a Venezuelan national who has been reported missing after she was last seen in Longdenville over the weekend.

Blanca, who resides at Caparo Valley Brasso Road and works as a house cleaner, was last seen around 6a.m. last Saturday standing near the Protec Security Company in Longdenville.

The report was made to the police on Sunday by a friend who said he learned of her disappearance through a Facebook post shared on a page for Venezuelans living in Trinidad. He told investigators that he received a message via WhatsApp from an acquaintance containing a link to the missing person alert.
