TWO women who faced charges of possession and uttering forged documents at the United States Embassy in 2024 have been discharged by a Master of the High Court.

Ornella Holder, of Belmont, and Keisha Fernandez, of Sangre Grande, were discharged by Master Whitney Franklin on April 24, after the prosecution failed to comply with the court’s scheduling orders, indicating earlier there was some difficulty obtaining evidence critical to the case.

The charges against the two allegedly originated from a report by the United States Embassy regarding applications for US visas. The offences allegedly took place on February 1, 2024. It was alleged that the women submitted job letters indicating employment.
