Ancel Roget has been re-elected unopposed as president general of the Oilfield Workers’ Trade Union (OWTU) for a seventh consecutive term. Roget and his Rebel Slate will lead the union from 2025 to 2028.
A statement from the union yesterday stated that Roget and his team were unopposed on February 12, the nomination day, automatically securing his slate’s leadership for the upcoming term.
The OWTU’s elections were initially scheduled for March 10, but with no opposing candidates, the nominations effectively confirmed the new executive.
