Career finance executive Gregory Hill says he will not be taking up the role of Minister of Finance in the Kamla Persad-Bissessar administration, as her Cabinet is sworn in today.

His response comes amid speculation that he was a leading contender for the post.

Speaking to the Express this morning, Hill said he intends to continue his career in banking.
