Authorities are investigating a house-breaking at High-Point House in English Man’s Bay, Tobago, where several food items were reported missing.
The property, owned by a knighted 86-year-old Englishman , was secured by its caretaker, on the evening of Friday, November 7. He returned on Thursday morning, to find damage to a door and another door left unlocked with chairs propping it closed.
A check of the interior revealed that kitchen items, including salt, black pepper, ketchup, essence, sugar, flour, and rice, were missing. Entry appears to have been gained through the unlocked door.
