A MAN caught in a roadblock in Santa Cruz with his seven-year-old son on Monday was found to have an invalid driver's licence, invalid insurance and a gun.
Police said that between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. officers of the Morvant, Santa Cruz and San Juan Police Stations along with the North Eastern Division Task Force were carrying out roving roadblock operations in Santa Cruz area when they stopped a Toyota Yaris, driven by the suspect with the boy in the back seat.
They asked the man, 35, from Pashley Street, Laventille, to produce his driver's licence and insurance, which he did. When officers checked both items, however, both were found to be fake.
