San Fernando police are investigating a break-in at the Skiffle Bunch Steel Orchestra after several high-value electronic items were reported stolen.
According to police, Anthony Sparks, the caretaker at the steel orchestra, secured an office on the eastern side of the compound at Coffee Street around 11:10 p.m. last Wednesday. When he returned the next day at12:30 p.m., he discovered the door had been tampered with.
Inside, Sparks found that a Nintendo Switch gaming system valued at TT$4,200, a 55-inch Hyacinth TV worth TT$4,500, and a Yaber projector valued at TT$2,000 were missing. Entry was gained by forcing open the office door, and the suspects exited through the same point.
