MINISTER of Health Dr Lackram Bodoe has called for a report from the chief executive officer of the South-West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) after two computed tomography (CT) machines became non-functional at the San Fernando General Hospital.
The report was requested even as Bodoe said full restoration and functionality to the main machine was on schedule for yesterday, and repairs to the second machine has been earmarked to be completed by next week Friday.
The machines became nonfunctional between May 12 and 26. The Express was notified about the issue yesterday and reached out to Bodoe and the SWRHA.
