For the first time, the world-renowned Alvin Ai­ley II dance com­pa­ny will per­form in Trinidad and To­ba­go.

The com­pa­ny will take the stage at Queen’s Hall, Port of Spain, pre­sent­ing its cel­e­brat­ed reper­toire in­clud­ing the icon­ic mod­ern dance work Rev­e­la­tions, chore­o­graphed by Alvin Ai­ley.

The vis­it is part of the Amal­ga­ma­tion Tour, pro­duced by Plié for the Arts in part­ner­ship with the Na­tion­al Dance As­so­ci­a­tion of Trinidad and To­ba­go. Alvin Ai­ley II will al­so host a free mas­ter­class and work­shop for lo­cal dancers, in­clud­ing stu­dents from The Uni­ver­si­ty of the West In­dies, St Au­gus­tine.
