Police are investigating the murder of a 55-year-old labourer who was gunned down early Friday morning in Erin.
The victim has been identified as Brian “Don” Baptiste, of Erin Road, Beach Road, Erin.
According to police reports, around 4:30 a.m. Baptiste was fetching water on the roadway in front of the Erin Fishing Depot when a man known to him as “Buffalo” also called “Bean” approached and opened fire, hitting him several times.
