NORMA Puckerin, 100, just wanted a “Pardy with Machel” and yesterday she got exactly that from none other than Machel Montano himself. But what did the reigning Calypso Monarch get in return? A “granny”, because it turns out they are related.

“This was truly amazing,” said her granddaughter, Jilene, who spoke to the Express briefly about the encounter between her granny and the soca superstar.

She explained that days earlier they posted a video to Instagram where Norma held up a sign marked “Pardy” and said “I’m 101 and I want to have a pardy with Machel.”
