Caribbean Airlines (CAL) has signed a codeshare agreement with Guadeloupe-based Air Caraïbes to offer flights to Paris’ Orly Airport. Under the agreement, CAL will operate the regional legs to and from Martinique and Guadeloupe, while Air Caraïbes will handle the transatlantic service between mainland France and Martinique/Guadeloupe. The new service begins on September 2 and offers an alternative connection to mainland Europe.
The agreement allows travellers to check in for a CAL flight in Port of Spain, fly to Martinique or Guadeloupe, and then connect to an Air Caraïbes flight to Paris without purchasing a separate ticket. A formal announcement from both carriers is pending, but Air Caraïbes has already listed flights for sale on its website.
