Caribbean Air­lines (CAL) has signed a code­share agree­ment with Guade­loupe-based Air Caraïbes to of­fer flights to Paris’ Or­ly Air­port. Un­der the agree­ment, CAL will op­er­ate the re­gion­al legs to and from Mar­tinique and Guade­loupe, while Air Caraïbes will han­dle the transat­lantic ser­vice be­tween main­land France and Mar­tinique/Guade­loupe. The new ser­vice be­gins on Sep­tem­ber 2 and of­fers an al­ter­na­tive con­nec­tion to main­land Eu­rope.

The agree­ment al­lows trav­ellers to check in for a CAL flight in Port of Spain, fly to Mar­tinique or Guade­loupe, and then con­nect to an Air Caraïbes flight to Paris with­out pur­chas­ing a sep­a­rate tick­et. A for­mal an­nounce­ment from both car­ri­ers is pend­ing, but Air Caraïbes has al­ready list­ed flights for sale on its web­site.
