Two mur­ders on Thurs­day night in Pe­tit Val­ley and San­ta Cruz brought the coun­try’s mur­der count to 110, com­pared to 157 for the same pe­ri­od last year.

In the first killing around 5 pm on April 10, Omari St Rose, 31, of Spar­row Dri­ve, Sime­on Road, Pe­tit Val­ley, was shot at his home.

Po­lice said he was pro­nounced dead on ar­rival at the St James In­fir­mary 20 min­utes lat­er.
