THE Office of the Attorney General has launched an investigation into the past management of the long-standing extradition request from the United States for former FIFA vice president Jack Warner.
The review specifically targets how the Office and previous attorneys general under the past PNM administration handled the request.
Warner is wanted by the U.S. government on charges of wire fraud, racketeering, money laundering, and bribery, stemming from alleged corruption during his tenure as a high-ranking official in FIFA and CONCACAF.
