AN 89-year-old man had his left leg amputated at the hospital after he was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday.
Errol Cheddie was standing at the back of his car on a private road along his agricultural land in South Oropouche when the collision occurred.
Cheddie was hospitalised in critical condition at the San Fernando General Hospital (SFGH).
