Ancel Roget has been re-elected for his seventh consecutive term as president general of the Oilfields Workers’ Trade Union (OWTU).
Roget and his Rebel Slate were elected unopposed and will lead the from 2025 to 2028.
“Today’s nominations included several noteworthy changes, such as the historic inclusion of four women on the executive committee simultaneously for the first time and an increased representation of young people,” stated an OWTU release.
