Two young adults were robbed at gunpoint in the early hours of Sunday on Lady Young Road.
At around 12 a.m., the 21-year-old female victim and a 21-year-old male companion were traveling along the road when the female urgently needed to stop near the roadway leading to Textile Hill. While stopped, a lone suspect emerged from nearby bushes armed with a firearm.
The suspect pointed the weapon at the woman, demanding money and ordering both victims to remain quiet. The victims were forced to lie on the ground. The female victim was relieved of four gold rings valued at $4,000, while the male victim lost an FCB bank card and $300 in cash.
