Heads must roll at the Community-Based Environmental Protection and Enhancement Programme (CEPEP), says Member of Parliament (MP) for Barataria/San Juan and Minister of Legal Affairs and Minister in the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, Saddam Hosein.
He said unlike the People’s National Movement (PNM), the United National Congress (UNC) was dedicated to “protecting the public's interest”.
Speaking during the UNC Monday Night Report at the Penal Secondary School yesterday, Hosein said a report from the Ministry of Legal Affairs showed that 32 of the 326 companies that are contractors with the CEPEP, were struck off from the registry, and one company was not found on the registry.
