FOUNDER and political leader of Laventille Outreach for Vertical Enrichment (LOVE) Lennox Smith remains optimistic that he will get a political appointment with the United National Congress-led Coalition of Interests.

He was speaking on Friday during a news conference at the LOVE party’s office on George Street.

He disclosed that he had a direct conversation with Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, during which he submitted a proposal outlining his vision for tackling crime, unemployment, and youth marginalisation in Laventille and surrounding communities.
