Central businessman Darren Mohamdally was gunned down outside his home on Tuesday night.

Mohamdally, 50, was shot multiple times while seated inside his Toyota Hilux van at around 10.30pm.

Police said Mohamdally was returning to his home off Joyce Road, Chaguanas, when a gunman came out of some bushes on the roadside. The gunman opened fire on Mohamdally inside the vehicle. He died at the scene.
