The Di­vi­sion of Food Se­cu­ri­ty, Nat­ur­al Re­sources, the En­vi­ron­ment and Sus­tain­able De­vel­op­ment says it raised the is­sue of “eq­ui­ty in re­source al­lo­ca­tion” dur­ing a meet­ing with Agri­cul­ture Min­is­ter Ravi Rati­ram last Fri­day.

A re­lease from the di­vi­sion said the con­ver­sa­tion fo­cused on ar­eas for na­tion­al col­lab­o­ra­tion, eq­ui­ty in re­source al­lo­ca­tion, and strength­en­ing tech­ni­cal part­ner­ships “to sup­port To­ba­go’s agri­cul­tur­al, fish­eries and nat­ur­al re­sources sec­tors.”

The min­is­ter met with the sec­re­tary, as­sis­tant sec­re­tary, ad­min­is­tra­tor, and key staff dur­ing a cour­tesy vis­it to the di­vi­sion’s head of­fice.
