“This is revenge for our mother.”

These were the words that a 26-year-old man heard before a male relative placed a gun against his chest.

The incident took place at about 12.30 p.m. on Friday along Atherton Drive, Arouca. The victim was standing on the roadway in front of his home when he was approached by a relative. The assailant allegedly pressed an object resembling a firearm against the victim’s chest and took an envelope containing $1,500.
