Police have launched an investigation into the death of a 25-year-old man whose bullet-riddled body was discovered Wednesday morning in a remote area of Paria, Toco.
According to police reports, around 7:30 a.m. officers at the Toco Police Station received a call about a body found in a weed field off Paria Branch Road. A team of officers from the Special Investigation Unit responded and, after a search of the forested area, found the body of a man lying partly on the roadside.
The deceased was later identified as Renaldo Marshall, 25, of Cemetery Street, Matelot. He was unemployed. He had gunshot wounds to both legs, the neck, and upper chest.
