Po­lice in To­ba­go seized more than $1 mil­lion worth of mar­i­jua­na dur­ing a late-night drug bust at the Scar­bor­ough Port.

Around 9.20 pm on Thurs­day, of­fi­cers stopped a white Hon­da Civic dri­ven by a 25-year-old man from Main Street, Bon Ac­cord.

A search of the car re­vealed a hid­den com­part­ment in the trunk, dis­guised to look like a gas tank. In­side, of­fi­cers found 61 pack­ets of com­pressed mar­i­jua­na weigh­ing a to­tal of 33 kilo­grams.
