Three men were ambushed while travelling in a grey car in Laventille around midday on February 12.

Clips uploaded to Facebook have since gone viral. One 29-sec clip showed the bullet-riddled vehicle and five police officers walking towards it after getting out of a police van. A voice can be heard warning the officers: "Doh walk there, it has spent shells."

In another clip, three officers in police uniforms, along with one person dressed in civilian clothing, are seen carrying a man covered in blood. It is believed the bloodied man was one of the car's occupants.
