A 65-year-old partially blind pensioner was robbed at his home on Wednesday night by two unidentified men who entered through an open front door.
According to police reports, the victim, of Preysal was sitting in his wheelchair watching television around 9:30 p.m. when the suspects entered and demanded valuables.
One of the men reportedly pressed a cold object, believed to be a weapon, against the man’s arm and ordered him to hand over a pouch containing $17,000 in cash, two gold wedding bands belonging to relatives, and a cell phone valued at $250.
