BANDITS carried out a daring daylight robbery in Elizabeth Gardens, St Joseph, on Friday, and police were up to late evening searching for four young men who escaped in a white Nissan AD Wagon.
Eyewitnesses told the Express that between 1.30 p.m. and 2 p.m., the four men were seen entering Elizabeth Gardens from Caiman Road, after apparently parking their vehicle a short distance away.
They then entered the home of a young couple and their children. Up to late evening, it was unclear what items were stolen. After ransacking the house, the bandits fled the area and were last seen speeding away in the AD Wagon.
