A 34-year-old Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force soldier has been reported missing, more than two weeks after he was last seen leaving his Cunupia home. The disappearance is particularly concerning given that the man had reported receiving death threats just weeks prior.
According to police reports, the soldier was last seen around 5:45 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30 at a residence in Dyette Estate, Cunupia, before reportedly leaving for work at Camp La Romaine. His disappearance was officially reported on Tuesday to the Cunupia Police Station.
A relative informed police that the last confirmed sighting of him was by a family member at the home. However, efforts to contact him since that date have been unsuccessful.
